Blue Butterfly Counselling and Coaching emerged from Jennifer and Malcolm’s over 50 years’ experience in helping others to “heal and grow”. We believe a person-centred approach to healing is the foundation for real growth, and Blue Butterfly is based on that philosophy.
Counselling whilst walking and talking offers a refreshing alternative to traditional therapy settings, infusing movement and nature into the therapeutic process.
Casual coaching over a cup of coffee offers a unique and relaxed setting for mentorship and personal development. Away from the formalities of traditional coaching sessions, this informal approach fosters genuine connections and open dialogue.
The Blue Butterfly is a symbol of transformation, it is symbolic of our strong belief that counselling and coaching are transformative processes and in the practice Jennifer and Malcolm use person – centred, and recovery-oriented care approaches and ‘possibility thinking’ in support of our client’s transformation journey.
In our practice we focus on you achieving mental health wellness. We are a person centred, recovery oriented and trauma informed service which operates in a non-judgemental, safe environment. We work with our clients to:

Overcome and manage mental health disorders like anxiety and addiction.

Good Coaches use person centred approaches as they know that if you want to be better and you define the steps you need to get there, then there is a far greater probability that you will deliver on your plan!! Coaching is a partnership between coach and client.
